Our founder, Mr. R.S. Reddy was a technocrat-entrepreneur with vast experience in the field of manufacturing speciality chemicals. He established Saptagir Camphor Private Limited in 1988. His vision, perseverance, motivation and in-depth knowledge in manufacturing of specialty chemicals have helped SCL to become largest manufacture of camphor and aroma chemicals at India.
To continue his legacy, on Republic Day, the R.S. Reddy Merit Scholarships are given to 25 students who had shown exceptional academic skills. The size of these scholarships ranged between Rs. 25000 and Rs. 50,000.
Ms. Shilpa Reddy has over 20 years of experience in Corporate Finance positions in Fortune 500 companies globally, including Intel Corporation. She has been responsible for driving efficiency and optimization initiatives in these roles. She has been with Saptagir Camphor Private Limited for over 10 years, in the position of Finance Director.
She received an MBA from Santa Clara University in Santa Clara, USA.
Mr. Mahesh Reddy has a rich experience of over 25 years in driving operations, engineering and manufacturing excellence. Prior to joining SCPL, he has held various positions in Fortune 500 Companies in the USA and led efforts in engineering, account sales, globalization and operations.
He received an MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, USA.
